Once one breaks for me, i have to rip them all off.

In this case, however, it's that time to get a new set and they were bugging me REAL bad.. now I look like I have stubs lol

Did you soak them off or literally rip them off?
soak them and then file them a little. You'll feel better.

oh no!! I did that about a month ago and decided to leave my nails 'au naturale' for a while and the STILL hurt!!!!
It takes a while for nail beds to heal....
OUCH!!!! Good Luck tonite

Ouch. That must have hurt. I have had a few rip off and I always feel like I am losing my whole nail

LOL I do the same thing! I have an appt. on Sat. but since I am in the middle of priming and painting our bedroom, which is reaking havic on my nails, I think they'll be going tonight! I can't go through new years eve with ugly nails!

I just did that on thursday. My nails were lifting from the wrap so I started to pop them off.
I went to the nail salon to just have them take the rest of the gel off and do an overlay on my nails. The heifer that was doing my nails didn't take her time and jacked up two of my nails. She was like we can just put tips on the ones that broke. I was so ticked off bc all my nails were long and just wanted an overlay. I think she got scared so she called someone else to finish them. Finally I told the new person to just cut them all and give me a fresh set cuz I wanted them to all be the same length.
Sorry just had to vent. FH just couldnt understand why I was annoyed

Marcella - I had just finished doing the same thing and I have an appointment tomorrow that I am cancelling!!!
I will wait till after the holiday to get a fresh set.

I do that too sometimes, if I wait too long to go to the nail person. I think it's a substitute for my nail biting habit...hmm...maybe if you're a nail biter too that's what does it?

I hate doing that. But I have acrylic not wraps and it's harder to rip off. Which is why I choose acrylic and not wraps - I don't get tempted!!

I usually get Gels.
You can technically rip them off. But I had my removed in Sept or Aug.. been waiting for my nails to recover since then.
I just FINALLY got to the natural point just recently.
I want Gels for the wedding, but figured I'd wait until I was closer to do that. Until then Im trying my best to be good with my own nails.

I got them done last night.. Now they look purty again.. I got acrylics again.. I got the wraps for a couple of months, but don't like them ... I'm a nail biter, so I need something strong.. plus I do alot around hte house so I need something that withstands cleaning and such..
