and I also couldn't resist adding just a couple of things (though most likely they won't be available later on ).
I did set them up through WeddingChannel.com so that whenever someone purchases through the site, a donation will be made to the American Cancer Society.
So yeay! Now I just have to sit back and wait until it's time for me to run around the store with a laser gun in my hand

yeah, WeddingChannel.com has a long list of partner sites that when you make a registry on them, it will link to the website. Then you have to go on WeddingChannel and pick a charity that you want to donate to (they have a long list to choose from). The only thing is, I think it only owrks when purchasing online. Not sure if someone buys something in the store a donation will be made.

I haven't looked into the details yet, but this site does it as well and is partnered with Wedding Channel - I don't know if there are diff stores available thru the two sites or not. http://www.idofoundation.org/
