So I know when my shower is....

I am so mad/sad/disappointed. I did not want to know anything, I haven't been checking my registry and telling FH to make sure no one leaks any info because I don't want to know.

I am on the phone tonight with a distant friend and she tells me when it is after I tell her I didn't know anything about it! Worst part is, she did the same thing to another friend who's shower was about a month ago.

I feel like she might have done it on purpose because she is jealous. How could you 'slip' twice in 2 months. I am so mad. I drank a half bottle of wine and have been crying for an hour!

I can't believe your friend would do that, but then again jealousy makes people do some crazy things! Don't be upset because thats what she was trying to do, upset you. Your going to have a beautiful shower and a great time!

i agree it was wrong of your 'friend' to do that...but dont freak out! just relax and make sure you still act surprised. it would kill your BP and your mom if they found out you knew ahead of time.

Instead of focusing on the negative try focusing on the positive be grateful that you have people who love you enough to take the time out to plan you a beautiful shower instead of focusing on the fact that someone slipped up and told you when it was. Why allow yourself to get all worked up over it?

I agree. I knew about my shower too and I still had an amazing time. dont get upset about it.

Even though you know when it is, there are still plenty of surprises. You don't know the theme, favors, who is going to be there, etc. You will have a wonderful time. Just act suprised and enjoy the fact that everyone is there because they love you and want to help you celebrate.

Aww dont worry - same thing happened to me, all my friends are RSVP-ing to ME for the shower, im like ummm its supposed to be a surprise.,...now i know everything...oh well! itll still be amazing!
