so i made my appointment

at kleinfelds for the pnina tornai trunk show september 26th. i feel very nervous to try on a dress is this normal lol anyone else feel nervous or maybe anxious, i have no idea how im going to look in a wedding dress and i just want to look exceptional! im also nervous to commit to one dress but they always say you supposedly 'know' when you've found the right one. and i feel like it is a little too early but in the same token im very very jittery to get in that white gown!!!!! this has to be normal right lol!!

Of course its normal! I was nervous because I'm a pretty tall girl and I always feel so big around my friends (plus FH is a thin guy) that the idea of a white dress terrified me... but I actually felt really confident in them.

I think its totally fine to start early so at least you know what you like and don't like, I had absolutely no idea when I started looking what I wanted, but I kind of knew what I didn't like.

I also just pictured a white dress is a white dress... but I ended up getting more of an ivory dress which ALSO freaked me out, but the saleswoman at Macy's mentioned that its hard to fit a stark white dress and like 70% or more dresses are a little off or ivory, so I felt kind of better. I think with a tan (no tanning here in Greenland) the ivory will work great on me.

O Yeah! I would definately say thats normal!!!

I haven't done anything as far as dress shopping, just browsing online - I'll prob start shopping around April 2011

Yes, it is definitely normal!! I feel the same way but everything will be fine once you get there and try on some of them!! I can't wait to start looking at dresses!!
