something about them putting screws in my back that just makes me want to cry.
I told the dr i want to do it sooner rather than later since i'm getting married next year. So i'm going to go for a 2nd opinion and then decide :(

good luck I hope everything works out for you. Its better that you found out now. When I was planning my wedding in 08 I needed surgery and had to cancel my wedding because it was a few months before. I was devestated but I get to do it now and its more what I want this time since I am paying for it not my parents.

make sure you do a lot of research about this
studies show that a lot of times people do not get better after surgery
so please make sure you make a very well educated decision and maybe even get a second or third opinion
my mom has been through this before
she went to a top notch surgeon in NYC...he did Gloria Estefan's surgery when she had that bad car accident

Yeah, I don't remember the name of the MD but I know that he is in the same office as Dr. Sama if that helps. Dr. Sama is excellent as well. which surgeon did you see today?

Its good you are going for a second opinion.. You always want to avoid surgury whenever possible...

def do alot of research.....the spine is serious
i got surgery on my nose over the summer (deviated septum) and i still cant breathe!!!
