So I no longer have a Macys registery

My mom called and told me that everything I had on my Macy's registry is at Bed Bath and Beyond for about $40-$60 cheaper and that's before using the 20% coupons. So I just moved it all over to my BB&B registry.

Just thought anyone who is doing a Macys registry might want to know - maybe you're stuff is cheaper at BB&B as well. Should check it out.

can your mom call mine please!!!!!!! My mom is INSISTING i register at more than just BBB. I am doing honeymoon too but she thinks one store choice is not enough!!!!!!! ARGHHHHH

the only upside to having a Macys registry is that you get money back in the form of a gift card after your wedding. every time someone buys a gift for you from your registry you get a percentage back. and if they use their macys card while they buy your gift, you get a higher percentage!

true, but it wasn't even worth it for me to keep it because I had like 3 things on the Macys that they didn't have an BB&B so I just said screw those things and just forget the Macys.

We're also registered at Crate and Barrel, so now we just have the 2 instead of 3

oh, well if you only had a handful of things then it wouldn't make sense to keep it either. i think i have to go with the macys just because there aren't alot of BBB around a lot of the people invited to my shower.

See I've been debating this same exact thing. I heard you should register at 2 places just to give people 2 choices, but I feel bb&b is so much cheaper and people will end up buying from there anyway.

The only thing is I don't like any of the comforter sets at bb&b. So I think I'm just gonna tell my sister(the moh) which comforter I want from Macy's, and register for everything at bb&b.

I would just register for them anyway.... a lot of times my friends and I like to go in together and get a larger, pricier gift instead of smaller individual gifts. It often makes it easier! Then you can register for what you want and most of the time your friends will end up spending less because the costs are split!

i literally did the same exact thing as you haha
i was registered at macys, but found the stuff cheaper at BBB and C&B

I did the same thing.

whole registry at Macys.. now I moved it to BBB.

oh and my registry stalking is getting OOC lol.. 24 items bought! 88 to go!

I have Macys registry for all of my china and silverware. I agree that it's usually cheaper at BBB, but I think registering at multiple places is best because sometimes it's more convenient for people to go to one place versus another, and Macys is good because lots of people of Macys cards they can use too, plus like someone else said, I get credit for everything people buy. Plus they have more items for my china pattern than BBB had. I feel like there are pros and cons to both.

wow really? i thought BBB just inflated the prices so that AFTEr the 20%, it comes out the same as other places. guess i was wrong.

we're registered at BBB and we're going to do bed stuff and other items on Macy's that BBB doesnt have
