So I picked up my gown last night.....
So I picked up my dress from David's Bridal the westbury location last night. After I got the call I was super excited and couldn't wait to get it. So I grabbed my mom and we ventured to the store to pick it up.
Upon inspection I made damn sure that every bead was in place. And I remember reading a post on here the same day about a disaster in the massapequa location. And low and behold theres a massive pen mark on my train! So I calmly walked to the counter and I do the really nice thing, and I'm like my dress has a huge pen mark on it! And the lady behind the counter was like really and came over and looked at it, grabbed the dress and was like this unacceptable we're going to take care of this right now. Took it to the back cleaned it up and brought it back. Then she went over every inch of it with us to make sure there were no other marks. She told us that sometimes when they order it from the warehouse they accidently mark it. The woman also told us that if we notice any other marks that we didnt catch in the store to call immediately and bring it in, because after the dress has been home for a while they dont take responsibility bc anything could have happened during that time.
---Advice to Brides: INSPECT the dress before you take it home!! Or if you dont have time, inspect it asap!
