So, I picked up my tiara today and it's the wrong one....

and I'm only realizing this now. I know I would not have gotten one with crystals because it does not go with my dress. The one I ordered had fresh water pearls on the ENTIRE thing. This is NOT my tiara and I already took it home and now I don't know what to do. I like this one, but I LOVED the other one. I can't really remember exactly what hte other one looked like though, so I couldn't even describe it to them, and the sample is gone.

Here's the one I took home. I mean, the tiara I paid for was HUNDREDS of dollars and this does not look like it should have cost as much. I don't know what to do because they must have sold the sample

GO BACK TO THE STORE!!! What does it say on your receipt? There must be an item number or something. Call them and explain to them what happened.

Do you have the receipt or the deposit slip for the original one? If it is not the one you love, then return it and get the one you love. You do have plenty of time so I think they can work with you. Dont settle if you dont love it.

Did you call the store & expalin? Maybe they will exchange it. You have enough time to get a new one.

And BMD's Peanut. . get on it! I bought my headpiece motnhs ago, but I was a little obssessed.
There are a TON of things I haven't done yet.

If that's not the tiara that you ordered, I would definitely talk to the store. You have lots of time to rectify things. Do you remember the manufacturer? Maybe you can find a picture of the correct one on their website?

Go back to the store and tell them you don't like this tiara and its not the one you ordered!! I hated the first one I bought and when the sales lady saw the tears in my eyes she said she'd work with me because they want happy brides. They took it back and ordered me a different one. Any place that charges hundreds of dollars for tiaras should be willing to do whatever you need for you to be happy - you have plenty of time so there shouldn't be any problem ordering a new one.

I got my tiara on ebay. Maybe you can look there and you might see something that jogs your memory of what your tiara looked like.

Ok, I called them and she knew the exact tiara I was talking about and said they don't have it in the store anymore. I told her that was the one I ordered and not the one that I had and she was a little beotchy to me. But when she asked me who helped me when I purchased it, I told her the name of the woman and she say, 'Oooohhhh, well, why don't you come in, honey, and you can sit with the person in charge of headpieces and hopefully she can help you figure out which one it was.' So apparently the woman who helped me was an idiot and didn't order my accessories correctly. The veil was already ALL wrong. Wrong lenght, wrong color, etc. So we'll see. I just want to try and find a picture of it and find out who makes it so I can go in there knowing exactly what I wanted. They were not sure who makes the one I wanted

And I am SO upset over this for some reason. I keep trying to tell myself that it's just a stupid tiara and that it doesn't matter. The one they gave me IS beautiful, but when I look at it, I just want to cry. I think I am just annoying with myself for not remembering what it looked like and not asking who made it.
