So I received a photographer's sample CD in the mail...strange...

So, since Im planning this wedding from afar, Ive been asking photographers to send me a CD of a wedding they have recently done.

All of them so far have sent a finished product with all of the proofs they sent the bride.

Yesterday, I received one from a photographer. (He has been mentioned on here, mostly by one bride that used him). I take it out of the envelope and the little sleeve the CD in is all dirty and has shoe marks all over it as if it was walked on a couple times.

Strange.

Then I start looking at the pics and begin to howl with laughter. My FH comes in... we were dying so many of these pictures have the bride with her eyes closed, are off center, show like obvious sweat on the grooms brow. Im SURE the bride never even saw these pictures. I bet the proofs she got out of the 400 pics I saw made the photographer look amazing, but seeing these bad shots really turned me off.

Why would you send someone a cd covered in dirt and with bad proofs as a demo??

Im bored at work, so I figured I would share.

and that's just hilarious. How dumb can you be? Maybe he sent the wrong cd by mistake?

Its funny, because you see all these things in bridal books and mags recommending you to ask for an album from an 'actual wedding' rather than a 'Greatest work' album put together as a portfolio....

Who knew someone would actually show you stuff they cut out??

Oh well, Im sure he is great, Im just going to continue my search.
