So, I think my Bridal Shower is this Sunday.

First of all, Yes I admit it I am a 'registry peeker' terrible I know but I just can't help myself.

FH called me at work the other day to tell me - his older brother offered to pay for our RD since we are paying for our entire wedding ourselves and have a 13 month old son - we just did not have it in our budget so we were going to have a BBQ in our backyard. So he made an appt for Sunday to go and check out Ladakins on the Mill Pond.

Mind you, our last session of Pre Cana is tonight and Sunday was the day that we were supposed to go to Mass at 11 and get our Certificates. So when I reminded him of that he said 'well there has to be exceptions, maybe they can just give it to us another day. I will talk to them tonight(Tuesday)' I was like it's just to check the place out can't they make a later appointment? He said no and started dancing around the subject. PS He is a terrible liar but I have to give him credit, cause he is trying real hard.

Then I checked my registry and stuff is flying off (all of a sudden). Plus my FBIL & his wife mentioned they are coming out here on Sunday also (they live in Manhattan). Who knows, I guess we'll see!

I'll be sure to keep you girls posted and if it is I will post pics ASAP.

I have no clue when mine is,,but I know it is soon..There is hardly anything left on my registries and every weekend I have some sort of a party..so it can be anytime now..

it looks like we may have our shower on the same day, just peeked at my registry also, and things are finally gone.. my mom invited me over for a 1:00 dinner that i cant be late for!! have a great time!

Good luck girls. I have no clue when mine is. Nobody has given any real hints or slip ups. My mom slipped that its in Sept. and FFIL slipped that its Aug. So one of them is either lying or going to the wrong party. Isn't it usually one month before or can it be anytime?

I think mine is today. I'm 'supposed' to be going to a baby shower, but my dad sort of slipped and fumbled over his words to catch himself.

I am also the worst peeker of them all! I never let anything be surprise

When I was little, my parents would have to wrap my xmas presents so I wouldn't peek- it never worked though, I would just open and re-wrap them when they weren't home! Hahaha.

Anyway, have a great time and post pics!
