So I THINK there is some progress on my dress

Some of you might remember that I am having issues finding out when my dress is going to be in. I ordered it almost 10 months ago.
I called them again today, and after having to hang up and call back because they put me on hold for so long, they tell me that they put in a call to the designer to find out where it is, and that it is now on its way to the store. They wanted me to schedule a fitting for March 14, but I told them that I will be just picking it up and getting alterations done somewhere else. So now they tell me they will call me when its in.
Did I make any progress here, or am I back where I started?

Sounds like you made some progress Lauren!!!! That's good to hear!! Sorry you've been having trouble with this, mine is actually taking a whole year to come in so I feel your pain!! They do have issues with putting customers on hold, I think it's bc Donna seems to be the only one there who knows anything that's going on!! Either way they're going to call you when your dress comes in, so I don't think you did any harm by letting them know that you're getting it altered elsewhere.
