I wanted to be surprised, but my mind works like a detective / puzzle solver, I can't help it...
My Dad was given a lot of plaques for his installation as President of the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs in June. Most of the people who issued the plaque couldn't be in Lake George, so according to my Mother, they're having a cocktail party tomorrow afternoon so they can have photo ops to actually present the plaques to my Dad (County Executives, etc)...
BUT....stuff is disappearing rapidly from my registry (yes, I am a peeker![]()
)...my best friend is diligently trying to convince me she doesn't have time to see me this weekend, my mom was too busy tonight (but wouldn't say with what) to go get haircuts...and when we were doing the invites, my FH and Mom were always whispering about this that and the other thing...
So...tonight (FH is supposedly going to play poker) I am going to get a manicure and a pedicure...and if it isn't my shower...well, can't hurt to look good anyway, right!!
