so, i was just yelled at by one of my bridesmaids...

Apparently my bridal shower is having enough people invited to constitute a small wedding

So i need to register for more stuff... The thing is we'll be living in an apartment with not much storage space, so we really don't have room for extras... I feel like I've registered for everything that I need, though one of my bm's and I did come up with about 10 more items that I could get...

So, what kinds of things did you register for that aren't on the typical registry? I was told I need a list long enough to fill a city block

I know this sounds bad but someone gave me some advice. I dont' know where you are registered but if you are registered at fortunoffs you can always put things on your registry and return them and get a credit then when you have a house or bigger space you can use the credit to buy something big like a couch or outdoor furniture etc. My friend did this and then had a $1200 credit to fortunoff. It is just an idea but if you need to put things on there that you necessarily don't need this is a good option

did you register for luggage? you could use it on the honeymoon.

i had the same situation, i had to put more stuff on because barely anything was left a few weeks before - i added a juicer, a quesadilla maker, a few different platters and serving trays, more picture frames.

Depending on where you are located, how about decorations for the walls, picture frames, curtains, extra bed sheets

see, the problem is, i already have so much stuff!

I have so many unused picture frames, and I never hang anything on the walls... I buy it, and it always lives under my bed.

I think i'm gonna make a list of people I think should be at the shower, and tell them anyone who's not on it gets cut

I would let them get you gift cards so you can buy what you want when you have more room. That's what people did for me when my registry was empty.

Yeah, i think I want to do that... My friend keeps telling me that i'll get like 10 blenders and 500 candlesticks though

You can add gift cards on BB&B I think though....

This might sound horrible but I will say it anyway/ If you register at BB&B you can return items and get cash back. That way it can help with the wedding, or you can put it into a savings account and use it on house stuff later as you think of something you really need.

i'm in the same boat as you, we are getting a storage unit next month to keep our china, kitchenaid mixer and all the other things that have no use in a one bedroom apartment!

That totally *****! We're in the same situation. I can totally sympathize and I'm so sorry.

I keep telling them that I'm not going to register for more stuff because we don't need more stuff. It's aggravating.

I'm sorry you have to deal with this. It should be such a fun time!

OOOHHH, I didn't know you could get cash back! Random stuff on BB&B - here I come!

And we're in VA - so really - how many people will come over and say 'hey, where's that that I got you!'

My mom is harassing me to add more... the only thing we still haven't put on is bedding cuz we have no idea what size bed we will have... Right now we both have twins and we are contemplating pushing them together as a king or just getting a queen. So that will add a bit more but she sill swears that I need to add more... I keep telling her I don't want to just register to register and if people can't find something tell them to give me money!
