on the XYRON 510!!!! WooHoo!! & the refills were 40% off! I swear I went back & forth between the Xyron & the Sizzix for at least 20 minutes!!! AND....I finally figured out how to make my very own scrappin nook in my too tiny house! I hate having to set everything thing up & then put everything away each time I have time to be creative. I was trying to hold out until we find/build/buy our big dream house but it isn't happening quick enough..so I will take before & after pics of my new scrappin area & post them when it's done!

I have been wrestling with the same thing. I think I am leaning towards a sizzix because I think it would be cool for a couple of things but as soon as I get it, I know I will want a xyron

I SO hear you on the room - one of the big reasons I don't make more crafts/work more on my scrapbook is the time it takes to set up and put everything away - I have NO room now in my apartment - at least when we have a house I'll get a craft room until baby #1 arrives
man...this week was 50%??!!! the one freaking week I don't get my paper...

How exciting--cant wait to see pictures--- Having your own space does make a difference--I used to have to drag everything out so that meant my scrapbook was never gong to get done but ever since I set up my office I have become obsessed (and yes I still blame the ladies of LIW)
As far as Sizzix and Xyron go-- I love the Sizzix and bought the small Xyron-- but still gaze at the 510 every time I walk in Michaels!!!

the Xyron is a machine that put glue on pieces of paper that you put through the machine. Its kind of like a laminating machine but it put glue on the back. The 510 also has refills to do laminating and magetic. Here is a website that you can see the Xyron and all its features!~
the Sizzix is a die cut machine that is made for home use! You can buy many different dies, in letters or shapes and it basically cuts out the shape that you want using a die.
