favors I was looking at would total $950 .
my most favorite wine is Martha Clara's Sabor and would LOVE to give that out but at $950????????? Am i nuts????? this would be for 1 bottle per couple. 7 cases of wine .

I love Martha Clara wine too but look around I know Stew Leonard's sells it and gives discounts on cases also see about joining Martha CLara's club and then you get a discount also

I think its way too much on favors especially since not everyone drinks wine. Maybe you can see if you can find something more affordable, and just buy yourself a bottle of the wine you were looking at. We were at a wedding a few years ago where half the people at the wedding left the favors on the table when they left for the night. I felt bad because I knew the bride and groom had spent a ton of money on them. I honestly dont think favors should exceed $5 per person, too many people toss them out to spend more than that.

ITA fellow Swan Clubber (not many of us on here, huh?) I have personally witnessed people leaving behind favors or dumping out the goodies and throwing out the bag. I refuse to spend more than a couple of dollars on favors. Now, that wine is fabulous! My stepdad brought me a bottle when I had my son a few months ago and I'm holding on to it for dear life!

here's what they told me to do at Martha Clara.....they have monthly specials, like buy 2 cases, get 1 free, so keep an eye on those types of specials for when a wine you like goes on sale.

I did full bottles for my wedding and could not find a decent priced LI wine. I ended up going to local liquor stores and most will give you a 10-20% discount depending on how much you order.
Also, yes not everyone drinks wine but everyone has people over for dinner so a bottle of wine will always get put to use. Also if people leave them on the table you can always bring it home and have it for yourself. We had extras and drank them all. If you have a bottle opener or something like that as you favor and people leave them....what are you going to do with 30 extra. Food and beverage favors never go to waste.

it very well might be reasonable but once broken down it seems like a lot. it comes out to about $7 per person at 125 people and NOT everyone is a drinker (which ***** but also i feel it can be regifted at same time)

I know Costco sells wine. I believe they have Martha Clara. Maybe check Stu Lenonards too.

love ur favor idea, tho $950 does seem kinda steep. maybe cause I was not intending to do any favors and now due to my photog doing ones for free. did u budget for this expanse? def do what the girls are suggesting w/joining the wine club and negotiating with the vineyard.
as one of the above posters pointed out, this even if not picked up by the guest u can keep and use awesomely urself. I know this wont go to waste in ur hands (and I can come over any time and help u clean up )

yes, since they normally only discount at 15% they could only do 20% with the 7 cases.
