It's about 2 inches too short aaaannnnddd a little tight on the hip area!!! I'm not worried about the fit cause I know I can most likely lose 5 lbs by my next fitting but I'm worried about the length! She assured me it can be fixed but I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone...?

Yeah. I actually purchased my shoes there today and she said it was ok for me to buy them. They are 4 inches high. But even while I was walking around barefoot I could feel the dress was too short. She ordered the petite size because of my height (5'5'). She said i should be good with a petite size. I'm not petite though lol Everything else fits fine.

im sure they can fix it
they told me that for my gown girls taller than 5'6' have to order the long size
i'm 5'6' and they said it would be OK if i wore under 3 inch heels

I'm tall (5' 9') and had my dress ordered in a long - I'm suprised they ordered you a petite dress because with heels you're an average height.

My dress was an inch too short when I went for my 2nd fitting and she had no problem making it longer
