So, I went to Yankee Spring Training in Tampa and ....
I was hoping to post some pics of like me and craig and Jeter and A-Rod lol but I only have pics of the replica stadium(Legends field)
We were on an autograph line on monday for over an hour and NO ONE came out to sign that day! the saddest thing was this little boy behind us w/ his dad..... he only wanted to see or get Joe Torre's autograph, that is all he kept saying and then when they said no one was signing that day........... he started crying hysterically and just kept saying 'why' Why'? it was so sad I wanted to cry looking at him
how can the Yanks do that to these little kids

Did you just go this Saturday? My family was there that day too, and they said the same thing. They were really disappointed that no one was signing that day. Bummer!
But my cousin, who was wearing a Matsui jersey, got interviewed for a Japanese news show!

I feel bad about that.. that is SO NOT cool but it gives me more oportunities to say....
it's because all the Yankees are EVIL, EVIL, EVIL, EVIL and very impolite. but that's besides the point.. Hope you had a really fun trip!

No one signed saturday too?? We went Monday, Feb 23rd, and this couple at our hotel said they went sunday and no one signed and I think no one did tues that is terrible, if they open it up to the public and have people line up, someone should sign especially w/ crying kids but I do not think they saw that part, such a shame! when we were there some kid told us they had Don Mattingly sign two days in a row, he doesnt even play anymore

well... it's not good to recognize the fans... i knew a guy I worked with at another company.. and as a kid, he went to a game in the 70's and Hank Aaron was there.. and they were all screaming for them.. all they wanted was a 'nod'.. but he wouldn't turn around to acknowledge them.. and years later.. as an adult, I could tell.. it never sat well with him.
to me.. if you're a ballplayer and you want to blow off adults, that's fine. A normal minded adult can hadnle it.. ut with kids.. at least take the time to recognize them.. it could makes a kid's day. it's true.
Those Darn evil evil Yankees.

We don't know for sure if they WEREN'T kicking puppies, young lady!
Obviously, you don't remember the infamous Yankee Puppy Kicking Day at the Stadium in 1991. What a horrible sight to behold!
As for the 20 Mets fan, that's OK.. because when we take the champoinship this year, we'll be the ones who can TRULY celebrate! Not all those bandwagon (Yankee) fans.

Yep, the Mets could do their 'meet and greet' between innings, since they aren't working too hard out on the field most games
