and i was planning on inviting my boss too the SVP of my department cuz i thought id be rude if i invited the team and not her too..... do you think thats awkward?

I don't think its awkward, he/she can hang out with the rest of his or her coworkers. Can they bring their significant other? I am planning on inviting my boss' boss and his wife to my wedding also.

I don't think so. If I were still at my old job (I was there for 3 years before I left), I'd invite my old bosses too. We had a great relationship in our department.

I think you should be fine then. I think it would be more awkward if you didn't invite her. Everyone might be talking about the wedding around her.

I work for a team of 13 people... do I have to invite all of them or any of them? Some of them have been asking me how the wedding planning is going while others don't even say hello... I was just thinking about inviting the group of girls that i work with and not those 13.. It dont think its necessary... and plus with my growing guest list I don't think its fair to invite people who don't really care about me.. IMO

I work with around 35 people on a daily basis and at my second job i work with 7 people...And all of them have sig. others!!! Thats alot of people!!!
If its not too may people I say invite them all and not worry about it being weird

I don't think it is awkward. Actually, I plan on inviting just a few people from my department. That should be interesting when people realize they won't be invited.

I'm not inviting anyone from work. Not that I dislike my co-workers or anything.......I see them everyday, if you invite one you need to invite another,& another,& another, before you know it your guest list has grown out of control.
