So, I'm kinda annoyed!!!!!

Ok, I'm a LOT ANNOYED, to be truthful!!!!! (I spent my time and $$$$$$, when my Husband doesn't even have consistent employment) to make my own shower invitations/RSVP's, AND PUT POSTAGE ON THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELLO?!!!!!!!!! Could you PLEASE do me the courtesy of returning your RSVP's?!!!!!!!! The RSVP date is May 6th, which is Wed., and over 10 people still did not send their RSVP's back!!!!!! Here I am, trying to plan a great Shower, not only for Donna, but also for the Guests, and some don't care enough to even reply!!!!!! I don't get it!!!!! Because if I'm honored with a Shower/Wedding Invitation, I RSVP, and ACTUALLY attend, thinking if I WAS THOUGHT OF ENOUGH TO INVITE, I SHOULD GO!!!!!! Silly me for expecting that others might feel as I do!!!! Honestly, I told Debi today, that people from NY do a better job on getting people to attend showers!!!!! I don't know how you do it; Maybe the NY folks are just more courteous? My hat is off to you NY!!!!!!!! Mary MOB

I can't stand when people refuse to RSVP!!! I still didn't get over 20 cards back from my wedding which is in two weeks! I guess we just spent the money on postage for the fun of it!

I must say my shower turn out was great even though my wedding wont be!! Almost all of my guests came to my shower but I invited over 270 people to the wedding and only 140 are coming! I think lack of regard for others is a worldwide thing unfortunately because NY people are not that much better!!!!

Hi, Nikki!!!!!! How are you? I'm sorry that number of guests have let you down!!!!! I know Debi and Fred invited about 150, and only 70+ attended the Wedding, probably because for many of her OOT guests, it was too far. I totally understand that. But to not return a RSVP...... like how much energy does it take to check yes/no, and pop it it into the mailbox? And neither Donna nor I is happy with some of those who have said they can't come, because, Donna attended their Showers!!!!!! Mary MOB

Yep this sounds VERY very familiar to me....my mom and MOH's had to hunt ppl down b/c they were late- then 2 says yes and didn't show, then 1 said yes, a week later said no and then showed up! ?????

I don't get it but it taught me to be EXTREMELY prompt whenever I get invites
