So, I'm officially annoyed!!!!!!!! Update close to bottom!!!
For about the last month, I've been getting e-mails from someone, using my personal e-address!!!!! I never open them, because of possible virus. But the subjects are strange, like, 'All your family photos are in the garbage', and calling me, I assume, a 'one eyed something, and asking why I'm waiting!!!!!' So, then, I went to my Sent Box of e-mails, and they had all been deleted!!!!
I've been on the phone with Verizon multiple times, especially this weekend!!!!! And forgive me, but I'd like to reach out and touch their automated voice!!!!!! She goes on and on, so I just keep pushing the operator button, until I get a real person. I had such a headache yesterday!!!! I was on the phone until about 3AM, then, after I returned from Church, I was on the phone for hours with multiple Verizon techs!!!!! Still no resolution!!!! I had been told that as soon as I get more strange e-mails, to call, and they had a way of checking them out. So, after receiving said e-mails yesterday, I called, but all the tech wanted to do was change my password!!! Ok, I changed it, and it works ONLY FOR VERIZON MAIL, YOU KNOW THE SITE WHERE I CAN RECEIVE ALL THEIR LOVELY SPAM MAILS, but the password, DOES NOT WORK IN MY OUTLOOK EXPRESS!!!!!! Isn't that convenient? I don't want to judge but I got the distinct impression, the techs did not know what they were doing, after one of them tried to get me to sign in, using my new password, on YAHOO, INSTEAD OF VERIZON. I finally had to say, 'No, that is NOT correct, it's Verizon Mail, I need to be logging into!!!!!! Not only that, but in their journey of trying to establish my new password, and not knowing why it was not working for my Outlook Express, they deleted my Home Page, leaving Verizon in it's place, and deleted my Google Toolbar!!!!!!! I think they were trying to perhaps go back to 'before' my Outlook Express possibly got infected? I know Donna does that, but I don't know how. Anyway, one Canadian tech told me after I asked, that it was possible for the strange e-mailer, to be overriding my new password, so he advised me to run malwarebytes.org, to disinfect, which I did, then, tried to fix the password problem AGAIN, again with no success. So, Donna plans to come over soon, to see if she can fix the problem; I have thought of uninstalling the Outlook Express, and reinstalling, but I'll lose stuff!!! And did I mention my printer is not working properly!!!!! ? I'll be PRAYING, BUT listen up, Verizon, if Donna cannot fix this problem, I plan to not get my service from you when my contract expires!!!!!!! ( A Supervisor from Va. offered me a deal on the price, and said he'd call me back before Dec. 14th, to get my answer. We were going to disconnect, but my Husband files for unemployment, online, so he wanted me to keep my internet, but hey, Donna can use her computer to help my Husband)!!!! Ok, thanks for listening, girls!!!!! Mary MOB
