So i'm planning my Honeymoon..

and I have to file for a passport. We've decided on Punta Cana DR.

Since I'm filing before my wedding I use my current last name right?

Also, do I need both a passport book and card or just one or the other?

im pretty sure you need a passport book only

apply with your current last name, not your married name because unless you get your name change docs in order before your HM, you'll have a problem.

when we went to DR 5 years ago with my fam, we also needed some kind of visa, so check on that as well! They were cheap, I think like 20 bucks each or something.

You would only need your passport book.

I would use your name because you don't want to encounter any problems.

Passport Book and your current last name.

they have a new chip now that they put into the book now. either way, they will tell you what to get and it has to be in your current name now. once it expires, you can change the name on your passport
