SO i think i did some talkin into those parents of mine...they really REALLY want me to finish school and i promise im going to....so they said we will talk about it in a few weeks....
IM A 200? NEVER!!!!!
just found out today that i cacn't get into the suffolk nursing program till fall of 09 and that TOTOALLY RUINS all my plans....
my dad has this big deal of me getting married after i finish school....well considering that i wont finish school till 2011 ill be getting married in 200 NEVER! ( i totally understand why he wants be to finish but i just wish he would make some compromise....im going over there 2nite to talk to him about it and see what he says... im just so upset....
and then i tell FH and hes like im not waiting till 2011...lets just Elope
(funny part is my dad is fine w/ eloping....its the whole paying the wedding thing....until im done with school! Ugh

im sorry to hear that. i may not be an '09er either. 2010 really isnt that far away thought if you could pull that off !? it gives you a full 2 years to plan everything. hope you end up happy

Well...hopefully when you speak with your dad he will reconsider....or you guys can elope and then have your dad pay for the wedding when you are done with school.... that way you can have like a celebration party. I am so sorry!!!!

That stinks! Is paying for part of it yourselves completely out of the question? Then you can control when you get married. Hope everything works out!

I hope your dad understand.. my mom was the same way b/c she was afraid that I wouldnt finish school because I get Married FH spoke to her and promise her that the last thing that he will let happen is that I dont finish school... that made her feel better, I am not finishing school until 2010. I hope it work with your dad and keep us posted
