So lately, I have spent at least 15 minutes on the Cross Island Parkway

Today, I spent about 4 minutes. Who on earth designed this??? I know Robert Moses did it, but who redesigned it? GRRR

I drive the Cross Island everyday...what portion are you talking about? On the Cross Island, I drive from the Whitestone to the Northern State (and vice versa).

Lemme tell you, when there's an accident on that parkway...forget it. Enjoy the scenary! It's the Cross Island Parking Lot!

I do not envy any of you who drive that route to/from work

even when we take it on the weekends to visit DH's folks I cannot stand it!!!

At least I can sit on a train and fall asleep from NYC-home ...

i take the cross island from the lie north to whitestone. beautiful trip but looooooooonnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggg!!!!!!!! and that's on a good day!

They're repaving the roads on the CIP and everyone has to go two miles an hour.

Just be thankful that they don't put the Christmas lights on the side of the parkway again...EVERYONE had to stop and look.
