So lets see who I'm kicking out Updated

I know this may sound incredibly b*tchy but I told my BM months ago about ordering their dresses (I understood that around the holidays its tough) so I told them they had until the end of February to purchase their dresses (the latest!). Granted half of them went within the past 2 weeks which I'm fine with but 3 of them have yet to go! The bridal suite told me by March is the latest they should order it. What the hell is wrong with them?! Honestly it takes 5 mins and you only need half down. FH sisters said they're going this wkend and my cousin was supposed to go last Monday. Now its just a waiting game to see if they actually go by Sunday. A big part of me wants to tell them Sunday night if they don't go 'O well that sucks, now you're out' but then again I don't wanna start family drama. I just don't get why they haven't gone! Actually FSIL told FH the money her mom gave her for a deposit she used to fix her car (but 'Shh dont tell mom!') and she also lied about saying she was waiting to go with her sis but she already went for her dress...meanwhile that sister told me she never went. Seriously?!

Ahhh! Sorry for the vent. I just dont get why its so hard?? If they don't go by this wkend I'll be furious! Even if I went thru all the drama of picking new BM, would they even have time to order the dresses?! Guess I'll just have to wait til Sunday...I'll keep you posted!

my own niece and a BM doesn't plan on coming to my bachelorette party,, really?,.... i mean really?

weddings can bring out the worst in people, and just leave you disappointed in family

i guess put out one more deadline, then let them know it's over.. if they are stressing you out this early.. it's surely a sign of things to come

I completely agree I gave my. Bridal party a deadline of march 27 th and if not they will be out of the bp. It amazes me how people procrastinate, and are not responsible. I manage a classroom of children I shouldn't have to manage adults but it seems that they do

I think you are not in the wrong give everyone a call and s warning that you are serious. Blame it on the s tore that they need it. You are the bride you should not be dealing with this.

I had similar situation, I lied I told them dresses had to be ordered by a certain date (5 days earlier than the actual date)

it was 2 days away from the fake date, and I said it must be ordered otherwise you wont have the dress

I didnt say you will get kicked out, but not having the dress pretty much means um, you cant be a BM

they figured it out and got it done

I hope the same happens for you!

I had to also tell everyone to order their dresses earlier bc my FH's sister is actually buying the fabric and making her own dress (shes really talented.... but bc she is making it, she needs time)... so my own SISTER (MOH) gave me the most trouble... I can totally sympathize!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

weddings bring out the worst in people! i had my share of problems with my bridesmaids.. thats why im so glad when we moved up the wedding we decided to have a smaller bridal party & it worked out great!

crap i havnet even started looking. i only hav 3 and they keep asking me about their dresses and im like yea yeah next wknd (ive been saying that for 4 months)

I went through the same thing (and am still going through it a week before my wedding). It's unbelievable...you really learn who you can count on when you're planning a wedding.

yea, i don't get it. i told them a month ago and only 1 of them has gone, ***?? this just gets me scared of how long it'll take to get RSVP's.

Thanks girls! Its really aggravating. I feel like a b*tch already bc I keep reminding them and its like they just keep blowing me off. ::Deep Breath:: I'm going to give them all the benefit of the doubt and see what happens by tomorrow. I'm hoping I'm just stressing out for nothing lol. We'll see....

um oh my god you sound just like me! and we're date twins! haha...Imm still waiting on one more to put her deposit down, but I took half my girls with me in JANUARY, and they all got it done..it took some of them until March to get fitted. I was freakin out because I the place told me that If I wanted the dresses by late July mid August to order them by March 1. I hope she gets the deposit in soon or I'll just pay for it! ha its getting to that!

I've emailed her and her sis (my MOH) have tried to contact her several times about it and she just so conveniently has been ignoring us! I'm not even that stressed out about her bc if she doesn't get it, I wont loose sleep about having her not be in the wedding, its typical behavior for her.But I'm so happy & relieved the other girls all went!! I can finally breath!!
