So mad.

So mad.

Two weeks ago I got some pretty awful highlights that I paid a fortune for. I said as soon as she finished I wasn't happy, but they said wait a couple weeks and see if I like them better, and if not, call. Today I called, said I wasn't happy at all, and when he said he'd get the same person to correct them, I said I wanted someone else. Fine, I got an appt. this week. I asked if there would be any charge (because the first time they told me it would be $130 and then AFTER the highlights charged me $178). He said there will be a charge but he will 'work with me to minimize the charge.' ***!? She messed up and I have to pay for a second time!? I am sooo pissed at this place. I feel like reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. And I was speaking to the owner on the phone so it isn't even like I can say let me speak to the owner.

Oh I definitely am but I think they should fix it--no cost! So unbelievable...This hair which I hate is winding up costing me over $250 to look like sh!t.

they should definitely fix it for no cost, but if they don't i would go somewhere else and not give them another dime...

PS: It does not look like sh!t at all but that's beside the point, they did not do what you asked.

Sorry, Beth! Are you still going to go back to have them fix it?

LOL thanks, I guess it's just that it's not what I wanted. Plus the point was to cover up my grays which are still quite obvious.

It is true that they are an LIW vendor so I am thinking of posting a warning on BHB...

I think so. I may go and have them fix it and refuse to pay a dime. If they can charge me $45 more than they said it would be, I can walk out without paying.

I do think that they should fix it at no cost to you. If they refuse don't let them touch your hair. I'm sorry that this has happened to you. If you need the name of a great colorist let me know.

Thanks, I have a good colorist but had a gift certificate to this place so I decided to try this place...

I would tell them to fix it at no charge. If they refuse, I would tell them that instead of paying for them to fix it, I will put the $$ towards a BBB complaint instead.

It's ridiculous that they wouldn't fix it free of charge if you are that unhappy with it. And them telling you to wait a week was just a way to get you out of the salon before you thought about it too much, IMO.

ETA: A full head of highlights at my salon is about $90-100. If my salon can charge $90 or $100 and make money on it, the salon where you are going has already made a profit and then some.....
