So FH is calling his groomsmen to confirm the Rehearsal dinner when his niece (16 years old) gets on the phone and requests to bring along some bratty friend of hers to the wedding. She is 16 and clueless so I don't care BUT FH actually says 'maybe let me talk it over with Sabrina'. OH HELLS NO! I looked at him like I was gonna kill him and tell him while he is on the phone that their table is done and maxed out at 12. Then I slip him a note and say I really don't feel like shelling out $$ for this kid either. SO he tells his niece well the answer for now is no. What the hell??? We just argued, becuz I don't get how 8 DAYS before the wedding, he does not understand that NO, a 16 years olds request will NOT be honored. Why did he have to say he will talk to me about it? I am sooo pissed, I gave myself a migraine.

Re: SO Mad!!!!
EEK! Ask FH if he is giving up his seat for this bratty friend bc that's the only way his cousin can bring the friend! He probably felt awkward bc he was put on the spot and by his cousin. Be calm, he knows how you feel, he'll do the right thing.
People really have guts to ask certain things!

Re: SO Mad!!!!
my FBIL did the same thing to me...he called his parents house while he was out and he knew I was there and asked if he could bring his girlfriend. The kid is 14 years old and is dating her a month....my wedding is in MARCH. You're 14 - no - you don't get to bring a guest. Brother of the groom or not! Sorry - might sound *itchy, but I just don't see it being a good idea. If the guy I was dating when I was 14 was in my family's wedding pictures, and I saw them now I wouldn't be happy!

Don't let her bring him. It's just another headache. I would call and tell her it is too late to add another guest.

Re: SO Mad!!!!
What's wrong with her parents. sounds like your fh was on the phone confirning and the groomsman handed the phone to his daughter to ask. That is just rude. I would be mad too if I were you.

People are going to aggravate you more and more towards the wedding. Don't get upset because you'll make yourself crazy. Just take a deep breath

Men = idiots. I can totally empathize...mine would do the same thing. He knew what the answer would be so just say it! So annoying!
