I just called a friend of mine to ask her a question and she told me that she is not able to come to my wedding because her and her husband are going to Florida for the weekend. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! It is 8 days till my wedding, she responded that they were coming and now I had to call her to find out that they are not.

wow, i would be furious. are these close friends? are they going for vacation or something big that just came up like a sick relative or a funeral?

What would piss me off is that she didn't even have the courtesy to call and tell you she's not coming... if you hadn't called her did she just expect you'd figure it out on the day of when she didn't pick up her placecard?? and with only 8 days to go!!!! ugh i hate ppl sometimes!
ppl are so inconsiderate and rude....

That's so RUDE and disrespectful!!! Is she a close friend? Unfortunately, my eyes were really opened during the wedding process about people. You find out the truth about people you thought were your friends. DH and I haven't spoken to several people since our wedding.
