So I went online to look at our bank accounts and pay a credit card bill when I realized I received a returned item fee. I couldn't figure out why because I didn't write any checks and I have money in my account so I didn't see why I would have over drafted. I looked into FH and I's joint credit card account and realized that the bill wasn't paid yet even though I sent the payment online three days ago. I look further into it and there is a returned fee on that account. Stupid me accidentally put that the money should come out of my account instead of FH's account and obviously my account did not have enough money in it!!!!!!!!! I am sooooo mad at myself right now because obviously we are trying to save money and I just blew $60 on returned fees even though we had the money I'm going to call Chase tomorrow and ask very very nicely if they can return the fees.

hey don't worry about it. I did that too a few weeks ago! I meant to pay something out of my account and did it out of our joint which is really his. ******!

I had an issue with an ATM at one point and the folks at Chase were insanely helpful in reversing the charge (I tried to take out money, the machine refused to give it to me, but deducted it from my account anyway). I'm sure if you ask nicely and explain the mix up they'll take care of it.

I use bank of america and they **** regarding over draft fees.
FH and I noticed we were in the red (charges were still pending) so we put money in the account to cover it. Then we get TWO overdraft charges of 35 bukcs each because 'while it said pending on the online account, the charges had actually gone through' How is that fair??? I was so pissed they wouldn't take it off. Pissed at FH too since he was positive we didn't have any payments going through that week.
