so mad right now!

so DH misplaced my debit card at the end of Sept. I used the opportunity and changed my name at the bank while requesting a new debit card.
I wait for 2 weeks - nothing. I call them again and ask where my debit card is, they say sorry we will resend. again nothing. meanwhile I have the credit card which I was using, so it wasnt that big of a deal.
then on Tues night I went to get pizza and gonna pay w/my credit card, suddenly DH calls and says oh btw I misplaced the CC so I called them in the morning and canceled it yup the effin idiot did it w/o telling me
once again I have nothing to use to make any purchases. then yesterday I come home and DH gives me a debit card - finally they sent one!
so today I activated it and tried to buy something at Duane Reade it was declined. I call the bank (mind u 10 mins after I activated it) and they say 'oh its invalid - sorry'
so yup now I am stranded w/no cash, no CC and yes no fking debit card
I never say this but: FML!!!!!

can someone spare 10 bucks for an angry girl?

I'd be furious!!! Why did they even have to SEND you a debit card? My bank made one for me while I was there! That would kill me, I never have cash on me!

Jill exactly was my point: WHY YOU SENT THIS CRAP TO ME?????
I just hung up on her after she said she will overnight a new one.

oh geez - that's extremely annoying .... i hope you get your credit and debit cards soon .... and don't give your DH a copy of them!

that was probably the 1st card they sent you which then then cancelled once you said you didn't get it. But the bank should still be able to activiate it. And they DEF should have been able to give you a temporary card in the meantime.

what I dont understand is how did they activate a non existent card
