no church that we want will marry us after 3:00 PM. and watermill wont let us have a ceremony there. looks like we have to cancel watermill and find somewhere else with an earlier cocktail hour...all other places we like are on the water so im guessing i can not have a valentines day wedding

the church wont even do a ceremony after 3:00 because of 5:00 mass, and watermill does morning weddings at 12:00 only and they wont budge at all

alot of catholic churches wont...Theres 5pm mass on saturdays and they need time for you to leave, clean up, and also before mass theres confession for 30 mins.

You should definitly call back and speak to someone else b/c Watermill was one of the places we looked at and told them we wanted to get married there. We were having a Friday night wedding and they said that doing the ceremony at 5:00 or so wa perfectly fine. SO unless something has changed since then... Call back and ask to speak with the head of entire place. Good luck!

we spoke to bruce our BM and he said they dont do it our cousin worked for them and has some pull and they still wont we said were gonna have to cancel they said im sorry but we cant and they returned our deposit but yours is a friday night not saturday also.

The reason they wont do it on a Saturday night is because if it rains then they have to use the downstairs room and there will most likely be another wedding or function going on at that time so i am pretty sure that is why they dont do saturday evening ceremonies.

My church is letting us do a 2:30pm ceromony and they said if we want to make it 3pm we can try and ask the priest and practically beg lol
