This is all I can find online.. GOD I love how they keep us up to date..
MANHATTAN: 6TH AVE BETWEEN 50TH & 54TH STS IS REOPENED + POLICE ACTIVITY+ CLEARED +EXPECT DIVERSIONS ON THE M5,6 & 7 BUSES+.
Anything that involves cops lined up side by side perpendicular to the street for two full city blocks is a whole lot of 'activity'.

bombscare in front of ubs building, so i heard but all is OK
we are in the blackrock building. we didn't hear anything but we are facing the FT building.

When I left today I saw all the cops by 56/6 ... they were all pulling out in a row - there were soooo many!

They are still out in front of UBS and still on 6th.
They're also on 6th closer to me... between 50&51? (I think)
And they're ON 50th (from what I can see from up here)
It's 7:30. Must be making Real sure. Im on 6th between 46th/47th. I should go home now.. but we've been told to 'clean our computers' so Im trying to get a headstart.

I had no idea what was going on either when I left the office!! I called FH and he couldn't find anything on the news. I had thought I had heard someone saying it was a drill. Guess I was wrong though.

I walked by at 6pm and a huge area in front of a building was all blocked off and in the middle area, was an open bag/satchel - couldn't see what was in it - so maybe they were being cautious b/c someone left it there?

I found out this morning there was an abandoned suitcase over near Radio City/Roc Center. There were cops from The Bronx, Brooklyn & Queens in addition to Manhattan here last night. Scary stuff!
