So, May 3rd is our get-together. Are you coming and where?

After thinking about it for a while I think we need to go someplace that we can make a reservation, because some of those places have long waits on Friday nights. Anyone know a place around there like that? There is Chili's around Fortunoffs. Do they take reservations? Might be a good place to meet and have our get together.
Any other ideas?

chili's does not take reservations, and I have waited a long time there to be sat on a friday night. Don Juans may take them, I don't know. The Cheesecake Factory may be a little expensive for a casual get together, but I think they take reservations, and the food is so good there. Good luck! (it's in the source)

Since the 3rd doesn't seem good- how about the following

Saturday afternoon? I don't think Cheesecake Factory makes reservations either. But Fridays wasn't packed and we got a big table for all of us from UW. Thoughts?

I thought JOy was going to get there earlier and everyone meet there when they got off work.?

It seems like May is a bad month - so much going on, and we will never get a day that everyone can meet. Do you want to try to get together on the 3rd and then schedule another date for June?
I know that Sats/Suns for me - up until Memorial Day weekend are filled. When I was trying to organize this before, there was never one good date.

As for the place, I think Fridays or Don Juans is probably the best - inexpensive and fun! Chili's gets crowded and Cheescake definitely does not take reservations. Who feels like waiting 3 hours!!!!

If only a few people can make it on the 3rd, that's fine....and then we can try to plan another day too! I am excited to see the faces behind the names...except I haven't heard a word from Nina...where are ya girl??!!!

may 3 observation

with everyone so busy, there probably will never be a day everyone can make it, I agree with bnjoyful, keep it the 3rd, have fun, and then maybe the people who couldn't make it can plan to get together on another day! Good luck!

what did we decide?? Don Juan's at 4:00 or when people can get there??? We can meet in the smaller room (it's easier to find people and it's less crowded usually). Is that good for you??

meet around 5 ish (I think that is early enough) if you want to get there early and I'll just meet you when I get home from work. We'll post more about this and where to meet and stuff! It will be fun! :-)
