So, more on my no-show, canceling-at-the-last-minute BM...(warning:long)

(OK so to make this all less confusing, BM who canceled is S and other BM in this story is L)

I posted a couple days ago about my BM (S) who has been totally missing in action and even canceled on coming with me 3 days before my first fitting when we scheduled it over a month ago. So anyways she emailed a few of us close friends over the weekend (about 10 min after canceling on me for the fitting) that she missed us and let's do dinner this week. So fine me and 1 other friend (and a BM-L) tell her we were planning dinner Monday night would she like to join? She can't Monday can we please please do Tuesday. OK so we switch our dinner to Tuesday (last night) to accommodate S. Me and L get their at 7:15 as decided upon. 7:25 no S, 7:30 no S. We send texts. 7:40 no S, we call, no answer. 7:45 I get an email to my blackberry

'Hi girls-

I tried to BBM, but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm in a big ole thing with my mom- shits a mess. I'll call when/if this ever ends.

She is 26 and her mom lives in CT, she does not live with her mom. Anyways. She never showed for dinner. Called me at 9 (called L first but L missed the call) and was like 'I'm sorry, I feel bad.' That's it.

So yeah. fun story. And this is one of my BMs!!

Oh man, she seems sooooo unreliable! I hope she'll be on time for your wedding!

Are you really angry at her? Do you expect this from her?

I have a couple friends like that and I get so pisssed, but in the end, I let it go like an idiot.

I have a couple friends like that and I get so pisssed, but in the end, I let it go like an idiot.

i was really angry when she canceled on me for the fitting. this didnt used to be like her AT ALL but for about 10 months now (coincidentally coinciding with when she started dating her current boyfriend ) she has been SO unreliable! but even last night and now I'm so not angry, just disappointed and like, uncaring. i don't have the energy to deal with THIS on top of everything else. its soooo low on my priority list.
