Does anyone else feel like all of a sudden, they have soooo much wedding stuff to do??? I mean, I am not getting married until OCTOBER but I feel like every week there is another thing I need to take care of now!
Last Wed., I booked our wedding night hotel room.
Last Thursday, I bought my day-of earrings.
Last Friday, I bought my placecard holders / favors.
This past Saturday, we visited the Inn at the FH and had a tour (re: blocking rooms). I will be working up a contract today with the hotel.
Tomorrow, I am meeting with my first florist.
This week, I am going to buy a comb in case I decide I don't like my tiara.
This whole month, I've been obsessed with planning / booking our honeymoon.
Next week, I am going to be talking to some ministers / officiants to get that ball rolling.
In early Feb., I am having my first makeup trial.
Very soon, I need to start looking at invites!
And I can't stop thinking about my veil and shoes, and if I need to get something to wear in case I am cold.
AHHHHHH! All of a sudden it has HIT ME - stop dragging your butt and GET TO WORK!
Thank GOD I don't have much to do at my REAL JOB!

seriously talk about getting things out of the way- i think it is wonderful that you are on the ball & getting everything done- i am at a stand still right now because now I mainly have the little tasks and I dont have the drive to get it done yet-

we were like that when we first started planning. we got most of our big stuff done in the first 4 weeks, so i know how you feel. just wait til sept, when you'll be running around like a maniac all over again!

I got a few of the big things done right away - dress before I even had a place to get married at!, hall, photog and band all before nov 2007. then I took two months off from the planning and I am like AHHHHHHH!

OH YES lol...fh and i have had to get into full wedding planning mode. The past 2 weeks we've been getting stuff done...this week going for BM dresses, booked our Bachelor/bachlorette parties/ made an appointment for his tux thurs and also meeting with the church.
waiting for all of our invite samples so we can choose it right away. Went looking for my headpiece and DOJ.
once we finish these things that we're currently working on, ill feel so much better and we can take things one at a time and not in a huge hurry

I feel the same way! I am at my 5 month mark today and when i look at the calendar it's really not that far away! Kind of freaky...but I guess we just have to relax and take it one thing at a time!

uhhh thanks for posting this- i have felt like this ever since new years- i am so overwhelmed by how much i have left to do. we only have our church, reception hall, photographer and my hair booked... i am going to get my dress hopefully on wednesday! but still so much!

before I hade been prolonging stuff to do. I just kept saying yeah, after new years I'll do this and that. Well, now that new year's day has come and gone, I've realized how much stuff I still have to do. And I only have 5 months from today to do it all!
