...a week from tomorrow and we still are waiting for 37 responses. What are the odds that we'll actually receive these? The whole experience of waiting for people to respond has been a complete nightmare for me. We average about two responses per day. The most we've ever received are 7 in one day and I am just at my wit's end. Okay, vent over. I guess I'm just looking for some reassurance that I won't have to call 40 people!

Fortunately, I only had 5-6 couples that didn't RSVP. I don't understand what is so difficult about checking off Yes or NO on the PRE-STAMPED envelope!
Good luck - and delegate your mom and FMIL to call the people for you - you have enough to do.

Just retallied everything.. I have 18 out still. Fear not I don't think you will have to call that many people. If you do, I agree, Delegate. You call your friends and your mom and FMIL call thier friends and family.

Mine was May 15 and 94 never made it back to me.
We called and received verbal responses from everyone who didn't RSVP. It was mostly very close family their response 'She knows I'm coming. I don't need to RSVP'
Oh, still waiting for 44 responses from FH and his family.
