I have my 1st fitting tomorrow and I know I will not fit into my dress. Has this happened to anyone? Are they able to do anything?

It didnt happen to me, but one of my BM's dresses was too small and just ordered more fabric and added a panel in the back! I'm sure you'll be fine!

it really depends on the dress, and how much bigger it needs to be ... but they can def take it out a little bit.

They can either take it in or let it out. I don't know by how much but I remember my mom had to let out a ballgown for me a whole size once. As for pulling it in, that's standard

I know it wont fit- I am 10 lbs heavier than when I ordered it.

I know it wont fit- I am 10 lbs heavier than when I ordered it.

My dress didn't fit when I I first tried it on after it came in. I haven't gone for my fittings yet (won't do that until September), but the owner of the store told me they can let it out a bit. My dress has a zipper and buttons on the back, if your dress is a corset, they may have a little more room to play with.

Aww, well Celia, think about this... do you know where you gain weigh the most on your body?? Cause I know I gain it in my thighs and hips... so depending on the cut of your dress, weight on your thighs may not matter much, bot like it would with pants... and your arms too... so don't worry about it until there's something to worry about...which there won't be. You're not the first bride to show up with a little weight fluctuation, don't worry! Good luck, let us know how it goes!
