So nervous about internship interviews!

Some of you know that I'm in the middle of a very rigorous internship process for my predoctoral clinical psychology internship for next year. I applied to 17 places, and over the last 4 weeks, the responses have been trickling in. I have received 5 interview requests and 8 rejections thus far. Today is the deadline to hear from the remaining sites, so I'm sitting on pins and needles waiting to hear from the last 4. Responses come via phone, e-mail and snail mail, so I keep refreshing my e-mail and dialing in to my voicemail at home. Definitely not a good way to get work done!! It is so tough how they make you wait when you apply for a job or an internship. Here's wishing you the best of luck and getting a good response.

Thanks...right after I posted, I received an e-mail invitation to interview at Queens Children's Psychiatric Center...3 to go! What a nerve-wracking day!

It's in Bellerose. It's not actually one of my top choices, b/c I am interested in working with the early childhood population, and they don't serve kids that young there. On Friday I have an interview at a site in NJ that mainly serves ages 0-6, so I'm really excited!
