I've been given a warning this morning. My skinny little neck is next on the chopping block.
I really don't know what to do. It's more of a favor than anything...it's just terribly inconvenient right now. And I don't like that I just have to sit and WAIT for it. And I really didn't take too kindly to being told that maybe if I kiss my psychotic boss's azz, things might change. Who hasn't spoken a single word to me since the beginning of August. Which I'm pretty sure, in a real company with an HR department, could be construed as harassment. Sigh.
Wish me luck girls. I know it's coming because they hid my stress ball on my desk.

Wellll....without getting in to TOO many details, my office manager warned me this morning. Told me that boss was on war path, and that I needed to do X, Y, and Z to try to make sure I still have a job. Said she was trying to protect me by telling me in advance. That's when I kind of lost it. I've been debating confronting him about how he's been treating me, but I didn't know how to broach it...now I feel if I do, that will seal the deal.
Thank you for trying to make me feel better though. It would really be a blessing in disguise. I'm trying to look at it that way, and don't think I'll be too upset if it does in fact happen. It's toxic here.

It s*cks that you have to deal with this now. However, since you are so unhappy there, maybe it would be nice to collect unemployment and look for a job you love!

Oh no, Ali!!! But you know, like you said, if it's toxic there (and I recall MANY a complaint from you about it!) then it's likely for the best anyway.

I'm so sorry to hear you are dealing w/this situation. Now 3 yrs ago I was in the same type of position as you. My boss was extremely toxic and she was always gunning to have a reason to yell at me. I know the economy is at a different stage now then when I went through this but I have to be honest w/you, losing that job was the BEST thing that ever happened to me. I physically and mentally became a better person once I was out from under her wrath. If its that bad, it sounds like looking at this in the best light possible is the healthiest thing you can do.
