So now what would you do...

So now what would you do...

So my BM is going to make my life a living hell apparently. After I left her a voicemail friday night asking her to call me back, she didn't get back to me until this morning, and sent a text saying she was away for the weekend. Fair enough.

So I responded just before cool...will you be joining the rest of us on Saturday?

Her response: I have a meet so I have to check what sessions I have.

Meaning:

She knew what I was talking about, was aware of the plans, got my emails, and just chose not to acknowledge or give me the courtesy of a response. Or my mother for that matter.

So since I have a veil of red in front of my eyes and I'm seeing stars right now I really don't want to respond or call her yet to rip her a new one. How would you handle it? I'm wondering if I should have my older sister get involved.

I would ask your sister (I'm assuming this is the MOH) get involved and just say look Ali is stressed with wedding stuff, we really need to all help out, is there a reason you can't come with us? Let her deal with the stress.

Honestly this same thing happens to me every single time i plan something.. only my sister (moh) shows up or acknowledges me. I am at the end of my rope as well so I can offer no good advice whatsoever except maybe suggest we go on a psycho killing spree together?

Hmm. I said in another post I have the exact same situation. We are going BM dress shopping Sat. I haven't heard from one girl (one of FH's 3 sisters). I know she's seen and gotten my messages. At this point I don't even care if she comes.

I'd tell you to drop her altogether- I can't do that because she's a FSIL. I agree with maybe having your sister have a chat with her.

Oh boy...I had a simular issue with one of my BMs...and when it finally came out to the fact that she was holding up the dresses being ordered, she finally came clean and backed out! Soo..her loss. I'm spoiling my girls. LOL. I would def. try to meet up with her face to face and get the facts... JMO

leave her a messge give her a date say if u cant do this im osrry but i have to ask u to step aside..dont be afraid to be a biotch from what i have seen u have doneEVERYTHING u can to get this girl going and she keeps blowing u off..if her reasons r valid fine but to not even call u once to explain..imo shes just not worth the headache..look noone expects a bm to drop what they r doing to go look at a dress but after several tries somethings gotta give

Re: So now what would you do...

You've asked her twice and she apparently has better things to do....go with the rest of your BMs and pick out whatever dress you want, after all is said and done tell her you guys picked it out and got measured so and so and that she needs to go by X date to get measured and leave a deposit, leave it up to her, if she goes then she's in the BP, if she can't then too bad.

My BP is pretty large so I didnt expect them all to come, i chose a date, half could come but half couldnt, so we picked the dress and the rest went within the next two weeks and the dresses were ordered. Now the dresses are in, I emailed them all and let them know to have alterations done in April/May -- I'm leaving it up to them.

Do not let any BM stress you out, I've gotten to the point where as long as I have my gown, I couldnt care less about everyone else, Im no longer deailing with the FGs mom who keeps stalling, or my mom who's been driving me crazy -- I'm done, if they don't get their dresses then they can all look like sh!t -- I will not stress out over everyones BS....

Don't worry hun, worst come to worst you have one less BM -- no great loss!!!

I have a very low tolerance for females like that....so I would just forget about her and find someone else

I am in the same boat unfortunately I only have 1 BM who is actually involved with anything. I would have your MOH deal with it.

I agree about asking your sister to speak to her, that way you dont have to do it directly in my case, I if I was dealing with her and she said something stupied to me while I was telling her how I felt after everything she did I would probley blow up on her so in order to avoid that I would give a shot with the sister help thing
