I sit in a room with 3 coworkers. They NEVER say bless you when somebody sneezes. I just find it so weird. I just sneezed twice in a row and *crickets chirping*.
I used to bless them if one of them sneezed but I'd be the only one to say anything.
They are all very nice and have good manners otherwise.
I just don't get it.

A coworker once told me that he blessed a fellow coworker of ours after she sneezed and she snapped 'Don't F^ckin say God Bless you. Just say nothing!' She is known to have major mood swings.
lol, maybe these coworkers also had their heads bitten off.

that is my job! only myself and an other girl says bless you when people sneeze; none of the guys say anything. So if I sneeze and my female co-worker isn't near no one says anything!
But it's weird cause if they sneeze i say bless you and they always say thank you so they have some manners!

Lol NOPE. One is Catholic, another is christian ( i think) and the other, an older woman is very christian. She plays christian music ALL the time and says 'Help me Lorddd!!!' out loud on stressful days lol.

I've actually commented to coworkers who don't say bless you - i told them that's it's very rude and it's even more rude when i say it and they don't say thank you. But i do think, in some cases, it's a religious thing. in your case - maybe they weren't raised to say it? i didn't start saying it until i moved here to the US. so maybe it's a culture thiing
