So one of my plans fell through.....

so I need to know where you're getting your groom's cakes from, approximately how many people it feeds, and if you could give me a price estimate.

Thanks loves!

Hey Laura! We are using the Cake Gallery in Bellmore, and they have been great to work with. It's a stadium cake that serves 25, but they are going to put it atop a 1/2 sheet so we can feed more than enough people! Marie is using them also! I got the recommendation from an 09 bride. They are on facebook and there are ton's of pictures on there of their work. So far they have been great! The price is less thatn $200!!

Don't know how you feel about this - but one of my BM's boyfriend owns baskin robbins and DD all over Suffolk County. His cake person made this gorgeous ice cream cake for my friends bday. I wanted to do something special for FH so I am going to do that in the shape of Meadowlands for the Jets. It's going to be super cheap

Just a suggestion!!

I used Audreys in Sayville. The cake was to feed 30 people, it was a yankee jersey and I think $90. Pics in my review.

I am getting mine from Cake Gallery in Bellmore too thanks to carla!!!

I was quoted $350 for just the yankee logo from other bakeries and $475+ for a stadium cake from others. I am in the wrong business hah!

Catey - no, I didn't try the cake, but the 09 bride who recommended them said it was good . . . I just asked Tom (the baker and owner) what type of cake and filling he suggested would be good to make the stadium - I think we just chose yellow cake with chocolate fudge. He said it works well for the construction. HTH!

Laura, I am not doing a groom's cake, but Riesterer's Bakery in West Hempstead has awesome pastries and cakes, why not give them a call. You never know.
