I posted the other day about getting those dooney and bourke bags for my BMs. I was buying them through someone on ebay and he wanted to charge me $52 to ship them. And that was a discounted shipping price. Who charges $52 to ship anything. Now I have to find them somewhere else.

i was ordering 7 of them, but they're not heavy at all. He charges $10 for shipping on his regular auctions so he just wasn't combining on shipping. He discounted the shipping from $70 to $52, but thats still a ridiculous amount. It would cost $10 to ship them all in one box.
Being that you ordered 7, you would think he'd give you a break. Did you read his feed back at all?

I'm a regular ebay-er, and I've noticed that many 'dicsount' vendors online have a ridiculously low 'buy it now' price, and then make it up with ridiculous shipping charges....

That annoys the heck out of me! Thats one reason why I stopped buying things from ebay! People making money off of shipping just bugs me!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRR

i know it sounds ridiculous but shipping can cost that much, i learned the hard way...i used to help out somebody who sold a bunch of electronics on ebay, since they werent great with the comp...So at first i used to put low shipping bc i had no idea, i used just be like ok $10 or $20...well then when they went to send the packages it was ALOT more and they showed me, even for packages that werent THAT big it was actually around the price you mentioned, so i felt bad bc they had to use their own money to ship the things basically...but that is also bc they are doing overnight or 2 day...ask them if they can send it to you ground shipping, and how much that would cost then...also its not just how heavy the box is but its dimensions and for 7 purses then yeah the box wont be all that small so that is why.
Also think about it, they will charge $22 if you do overnight for a small package, just the envelope size.
