So I mailed my invites last Saturday. On Tuesday I got in my mail box a 1/2 ripped invite with no outter envelope(so I dont know whos it was) and a letter from the USPS saying sorry but it was damaged while going through the sorter.
Now today I started asking people if they got theirs, one friend didnt get hers at all and another friend said he got it but it was all damaged!!!!
So now I have to call everyone to make sure they got theirs in the mail and make sure its readable!!!
After spending sooooo much on the invites + the postage I can scream!!!!!!!!!
Did this happen to anyone else????

OOhhh gosh!! Thats horrible! So sorry this happened...this is the last thing you need! I would call the posr office and see who you can speak to about reinbursing some $$ to you!!

Yeah Im def going to the PO once I speak to everyone and find out how many are actually missing & damaged and giving them a piece of my mind!!!!!!
I really dont think they are going to care lol but I def have to say something!!!!!!

Andi dont understand I had my return address so if any were that messed up why wouldnt they return it to me instead of sending it to the guests like that!!!

So sorry this happened! See what the USPS says... however, if you get a chance -- have the post office hand cancel any other invites you have to send out.

Sorry. I went to the post office and ask them to hand stamp them, instead of using the machine. They don't like to do it (extra work).

that's so odd..usually they won't put them through the machine if they're a certain size..and if they're damaged they're supposed to come in a usps envelope to protect them from getting further damaged

Ugh that's really sux! I wish they would be more mindful. All these post office horror stories makes me want to pay someone to hand delivered my invites like the olden days

that happend to me when i mailed myself a sample... it sux...but all mail goes through 2 sorters...they should have told you this right away though...

Sometimes when you go to post office to hand cancel these lovely invites they say they will do and blah blah blah but they dont - the problemn is there isnt much recourse that can be done. Its the USPS - Im sorry they F'd up your invites, Hope it all gets cleared up
