So, my plan was to hand address my invitations with a calligraphy pen because I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg to have them addressed and I absolutely hate the look of labels on invitations. I was talking about this at work today, with a friend, and she told me that her friend does all sorts of custom work for wedding, communions, etc. I just got off the phone with her and she'll be doing my envelopes! It'll only cost me $32 and it's a task I no longer have to worry about.
As an aside, I went looking at her website and was so impressed. If my cake weren't included with my RH, I'd hire her for that, too. Heck, I would've had her make custom invitations, too.
Is it ridiculous that I'm this excited about envelope addressing? LOL
ETA: Ok, I think I sent it to all who asked. If anyone else ends up wanting her info, please FM me. My LIW notifications don't seem to be going to my email, so I won't know that anyone else asked.

That's great! I don't think that's such a small detail - hand addressing envelopes would be sooo stressful to me. I will be so relieved when I get my envelopes back (that is if I ever get my butt in gear and actually get them out to be printed!)

Also, I used my work computers envelope feeder to address my e-party invites. I used lucida calligraphy font and had them printed directly on the envelopes with the return address on the back label. They actually came out pretty nice

It's a great way to do it. Sadly, I am the WORST envelope printer to have ever lived. I've had mishaps in the past and wasn't taking a chance this time.

Me too please! I'd love the website! I just found out that the company I thought was hand written is actually printed on an inkjet printer that doesn't print on dark envelopes.
BTW, I would be super excited as well! I think details say so much!
