Was talking to my brother last night apparently 8 people who RSVP'd 'Yes' to the wedding were No-Shows!!!! Her mom paid over $900 for people who didn't even come!!!! I can not believe some people. It's not a block party where you can just throw a text 'sorry can't make it today'. I'd be so pi$$ed if I were them
I'm also surprised to hear that family on both sides, who responded 'No', but didn't even send a congrats card--and fam we see all the time! SMH

Uggh Id be so pissed off! Ppl are ridiculous and so inconsiderate! That is why a lot of brides on here have said they tell their RH that a few less ppl are coming incase of those no shows!

That is so rude and disrespectful! This would make me flip out. I had a few people that were no shows for our engagement party and then acted like it was nothing the next time I saw them. UGH!

That is very rude....my MOH had the same problem at her wedding and i felt so bad b/c that should never happen ..i mean u invite these people b/c they are important ...and they make themselves look like *** in the end...jerks

ughh this is one of my biggest fears!! my last cousin who got married had a table with only three people at it!!!! it was other cousins of ours who just never showed, never sent a card, nothing!!! they had to pay for all those empty seats!!!

This makes me crazy! We went to a wedding where only us and one other couple showed up at our entire TABLE. It was horrible. It was FH coworkers and he started texting everyone that didn't show to see what happened and they all 'forgot' it was that nite. I would have flipped out!
Me too! Half the table of empty. The groom came over to my FH begging him to eat all the extra meals so they didn't go to waste! I can understand an emergency but some people are so inconsiderate!

That is terrible and drives me insane. I really don't want to pay for people who don't show up. FH was one cousin who didn't give another cousin for their wedding and 'forgot' her gift for the bridal shower and then didn't give us anything for our engagement.

After I sent that first post I was like 'I prob sound like a brat..people have priorities over my wedding' but I'm soooo glad you all agree!! I wouldn't be able to hold back from saying something to those guests.
Angela-the wedding was great! We had soo much fun-everyone did. It wound up being a perfect day. Minor things he and there that I wouldn't have noticed if I weren't planning a wedding or if I wasn't told about it. Thank you!
