So sad...

My cousin's father in law passed away last night.

I just found out...I have known him since I was a kid (cousin's hubby was my childhood friend) It was sudden and so totally unexpected.

I finished stuffing my invitation envelopes today and all I can say is THANK GOD I didn't mail them out. I had to go through them and take out the invite for him and his wife. That absolutely broke me

I think I'll just hold on to the invite and of course, offer it to his wife late next month...

He was a wonderful man, and next to my own Dad, he's one of the guys I would have wanted for my Dad.

Life is short...cherish everyday

My coworker's/friend's mother just passed away. She had a liver transplant a month ago... and unfortunatley she didn't make it. Imagine being 25 years old and losing your mother

to your friend. I lost my mom last year and I miss her now more than ever. I kind of feel funny when I hear brides complaining about their Moms...but I know I would be doing the same!!!

& since you mentioned liver transplant, I will tell you that my cousin told me that they were able to donate her dad's liver and kidneys for transplant, and operations were already being performed.
