We put an offer on a home we fell in love with over the weekend, but we just found out the sellers accepted another offer.... I am so upset right now...this was the perfect house for us....we even offered $10K over asking price..thats how much we wanted it.... Now to start all over again......

I'm sorry! I know exactly how you feel. When DH and I were looking we found this house that we absolutely loved.... the sellers took another offer too.
But soon after we found our house and we love it.
Chin up, your dream house is still out there.

A similar thing happened to us....twice.
The first time they took the house off the market....
then the second time, we found a much better house. However, after we already had the house, they called to say they gave it to someone who made a better offer.
Well....the next day, they called back saying they changed their mind and were going with us.
So, don't worry. If its not this house, it will be a better one!

You never know what may happen with that first offer. We put an offer on a house and they said they already accepted an offer. Two weeks later my agent called and said that the offer fell through. We are now in contract for that house. If it's meant to be it'll happen. If this doesn't work out then s/t better is out there for you guys. Good luck!

Did you present your pre-approval letter from the bank with your offer? If not... this may have been the reason why they didn't take the offer.

I am so sorry! I know the feeling, we didn't get two houses we bid on and really really loved. BUT..the second house was evidence to me that you CAN be in love with more than one house. I thought the first one we lost was the only perfect one for us house, then we saw the second and felt the same way. Your home is out there!
