As you girls already know FH and I just booked our e-party HOWEVER FSIL is having her daughters christening two weeks before. That is when the church is holding christenings and now everyone is saying that it is going to be a big deal for our guests to have to come to two parties and give gifts within two weeks. If i can change the date of the e-party should we move it ?? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you should leave it ...its only his side of the family that you have to worry about anyway.....the close relatives willl come ...and you kow what they will always find something to complain about even if they werent close together ...sorry but its true

I agree with Kim, I say leave it... It is only his side and I feel like people will give whatever they feel comfortable with anyway..... And besides two weeks is a big spread as far as I'm concerned. Good luck....

i don't think so...my cousin's Sweet 16 is 2 weeks before my eparty...its till 2 weeks..its really not that bad..its a pay cycle in between too

I would talk to the majority of the people you are inviting before you send out the invites. If half of them cant make it or think its an inconvenience then I would move the date, but I really dont think that would be the case. You should be fine!

I agree with KIMNSTEVE you should have your eparty. Who ever is going to come will come. Don't worry about it, and whoever don't come because of that silly reason then take them off your wedding list because if your eparty is not important enough for them to come then your wedding shouldn't be.

Update: so FH does NOT want to change the date and there are no other dates available for the month and day of the week we want....so i guess we are sticking with it!!!! Plus i already ordered our invitations so we are set!!!!! I am excited now!!!!!
