So Sad

So Sunday my grandma passed away. I have been crying for two days. I have no motivation for anything right now. She was my only living grandparent. Now I will not have any grandparents at my wedding and most of all I just miss her so much. I just hate this. The next two days are going to be brutal on me. I was not ready for this at all.

awww...I am so sorry for your loss. Just try to remember that your granmother would want you to have a beautiful wedding.

Your grandmother will be at your wedding in spirit!!! Just htink, she was there to see you get engaged and begin planning your lives together! Im sure that meant a lot to her.

I lost my grandmother a year ago. She lived with us since I was about 12. The one thing she wanted was to see me get engaged. She would ask me all the time, 'so have you 2 talked about it? When is he going to do it?' Unfortunetly she passed before I got engaged, as much as that hurts me, i know that she is looking down on me and is happy as can be! I just wish i could have seen her face.

If you need to talk... please FM me. I wish you the best in these next few days, they will be the hardest but seriously, at least we have fond memories!!!

I wish my grandmother was around when we got engaged. She had Alzheimer's and even when she didn't remember us - she remembered FH and loved him so much.

but i definitely agree that our grandmothers are all happy for us and they will be happy on our wedding days too

i just want to add one thing...

After i did get engaged I went to the cemetery, sort of to 'tell her in person' (hope that doesnt sound wierd) and even though i broke down.. i felt so much better!

Christine, I am so sorry. I know how it is., both of my grandmothers passed away in a one year span. You have to be strong, and remember all of the good times you had with her, and how happy she is for you. She will be at your wedding- in your heart and watching down.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Just think, your grandma is probably looking down on you right now and will be forever
