so sad :(

I am so upset about David Bloom...he passed away today in Iraq from a pulminary embolism

He was such a wonderful, talented man. My thoughts are prayers go out to his family. So, so sad. He has three young daughters.

So sad, I must say I had to shed some tears when I heard this...he is teh only reporter that made me UNDERSTAND what was going on...my thougths and prayers are with his widow and girls!

Holly I agree with you...it was just like he was talking to you every time he reported and made it simple to understand what was going on.

I was so upset when I heard about that. I liked him so much as a reporter and as a co-host on the weekend Today edition. He was so young, and left a wife and three young girls
